A smoky cat-eye makeup technique provides the perfect way to give your regular makeup look a bit of a twist, as Venus Williams demonstrated yesterday at a Hamptons Magazine party in NYC. It's a slightly different take on a trendy winged eyeliner look, and it's also easier to achieve since there's less precision work. Begin by waterlining the eyes with a black waterproof eyeliner. Then, apply a charcoal or steel blue shadow on the lids, extending the product out at the sides and creases to form a winged shape. Blend and apply more shadow to the bottom lash lines to finish. And for a creative touch, add a touch of salmon-pink blush just under the brows, just like Venus.
