All over the New York Fashion Week runways we've been seeing wet, slick, matted hair that stuck to models' scalps and necks like glue. At some shows, like Prabal Gurung , it took a glamorous turn, while at other shows, like Band of Outsiders , the look was decidedly grunge.
And stylists weren't fearing product; Odile Gilbert for Kérastase used so much mousse in the hair at Theyskens' Theory that frantic PR girls were making mad dashes to pick up extra bottles at the eleventh hour. The overall look was wet with a definite sheen and so stiff you could bounce a quarter off it. Don't you just love nostalgia? Click through for some more!
