I always wear 30 and my moisturizer has SPF 15 in it for under my make up. I used to like the sun, but not anymore. I'd rather not be dark and wrinkly if I can help it!

My husband is 28 and had to have a big chunk removed from his back. I look so good tan but it's sure not worth cancer!! I wear 45 w/zinc oxide.

I can tan in the shade wearing spf 45 it's pathetic. I never burned (yet) but can tan in 20 min easily so I always make sure to put on a high number b/c of that! Must be all that melanin

Brown girl here - and I wear a minimum of SPF 30 every single day and have been since I was child. It has really paid off when it comes to my skin.

Not wearing any gives me ugly liver spots, but I forget to put it on.

no sunscreen for me. I went to the beach a couple of years ago and decided to use sunscreen the 1st day so i wouldnt burn up. I came home with less of of a tan than when i got there. that one day of sunscreen lasted me the entire week apparently...

I spray myself down with sunscreen at least SPF 30 or higher. I know people think it's weird seeing an African American person be so careful, but I always say, "Skin cancer killed Bob Marley and it can kill me!"
