What's Your Outlook on Springing Forward?

What's Your Outlook on Springing Forward?

While I enjoy looking beautiful, I like my sleep. Scratch that, I love my sleep. It's important to be well-rested for productive work days (and to prevent puffy eyes). Even though getting more shut-eye is a resolution I'm trying to stick to, it's time to spring forward this weekend. Now we'll see an extra hour of daylight when we're out and about, but lose that valuable time to stay in bed. In a perfect world, which would you prefer?

YEAH!!! I love the longer days period. I get a little down during the winter. I like being able to walk home sometimes and it still being light out. ARRGGHH!!! I don't like the fact that it takes me days to adjust to the difference and my slepp schedule suffers. I am so groggy today.

I like having it lighter out later, I'll adjust to the sleep.

No, I prefer the shorter fall and winter days and having more time for sleep.

It's the exact opposite down here in NZ, we're about to change the clocks back one hour. Boo, so sad that winter's coming. I really enjoyed the long summery days and the sun setting after 8pm.

I love to sleep don't get me wrong, but I hate in the winter how it looks like night at 6 o'clock... especially since I have this timer in my head that says when it becomes dark it's time to leave work (I work from 15:00 to 20:00) and that really sucks in the winter time as I'm thinking it's time to go home when there's hours left! And I can sleep when it's light out - that what blinds are for... (or my blinds anyway) :-)

Well, this year I'm okay with it because I get spring break all week after. :-)

I don't like the idea of Daylight Savings Time. I think it's a ridiculous waste of time and money changing the hours back and forth. It might have had a purpose back when we were a primarily agrarian society, but it's just a PITA now.

I love the time change. More day light whoop!!!! Plus at the end of the day you won't even notice the time change.

I love it! :) It doesn't take long for me to adjust anyway.

I can't wait to move my clock foward!!! I absolutely loathe when it gets dark outside early. I'm so much happier when it's still light outside in the evening :D I know a lot of other people who are looking foward to the time change too.

I LOVE spring ahead! It just makes me happy when it stays light longer :) And honestly, the sleeping thing doesn't feel much different to me.
