Whole Foods Offers Customers Classes During Earth Month

Whole Foods Wants to Educate You on Eco Beauty

Interested in trying out natural beauty products, but don't know where to start? Whole Foods wants to help. For Earth Month, the chain is offering a series of in-store lectures and free podcasts about natural and earth-friendly beauty products.

The lectures (find them here) will focus on topics like what "natural" really means; how to find safer alternatives for sunscreens and preservatives; and what ingredients — there are 380 of them — are considered unacceptable to Whole Foods' standards. The three-part podcast series will explore issues like the challenges of developing reasonably priced beauty goods and how the rise of eco-friendly standards in products is impacting the industry. (Check out part one here.) Will you be tuning in, heading out, or taking a pass?
