Would You Buy This $49 Lip Gloss?

This lip gloss looks pretty sweet, right? The BlingFusion plumper promises to brighten your smile, plump your pout, and hydrate chapped lips. The formula's supposed to be fantastic, but at $36, it's a little high for me. And now, this sparkling version sells for $49 a tube. Too rich for my tastes, especially considering the anemic economy — but someone's buying it, right?

I wouldn't pay $50 for lipgloss! Maybe $30 but def. not $50!

I bought this lipgloss to use on my beach vacation and also to use while I'm in the hospital having my baby girl in a few weeks! I know that the price is insane, but it was fun to splurge this once. I really like how the lipgloss plumps my lips, too!

You should see the prices of cosmetics in Australia. They charge about $35 for a MAC lipglass.

I actually bought their LipFusion XL at that price. At first I wasn't sure spending $50 for a lipgloss was a good idea, but once I got it, I absolutly fell in love with it! But would I spend $50 on lip gloss again? Probably not.

I personally think any single gloss over $20 is too much. There are plenty of good, cheaper alternatives. Just check out a beauty review site to save time. I like makeupalley.com or totalbeauty.com

NO. I know a lot of people who would buy this and keep the cap and use it in regular lip fusion.

I bought it right after christmas with a gift certificate....It was a splurge BUT so worth it. I LOVE it

no way - but, then again, I won't even pay $29 for some of these Chanel and Dior glosses - what's the difference I ask you? $10 is pretty much the most I pay...

No way, too pricey for that lipgloss.

I'm not a gloss fan (generally speaking) so I'm biased. My personal rule is that I won't spend a lot on products that expire within a few months like gloss and mascara but am willing to spend more on products that have a longer shelf like (i.e. eyeshadow and brushes).

So we will have to do lots of searches to find the regular one at a discounted price, because it sounds like it works great. Not so much the bling product.

no way... i could buy 49 of the E.L.F. plumping lip glosses for the same price!! My biggest makeup splurge was "blue satin" le vernis from Chanel! and that was PUSHING it!

No how, no way...ridiculously expensive for a lip gloss, and I'm sure there are plenty of other great glosses out there that will give the same effect for less $$.

how in the hell can I afford $50 lip gloss when I can barely afford to pay for gas at $4/gallon?

$50?! I don't have "idiot" tattooed on my forehead.

No, never - I don't like lip plumpers at all, I hate the feeling of them

No way! I could think of so many other things I could spend that money on.

I personally prefer the temporary effect of a plumping gloss (although the LipFusion effects last forever for me anyway) over the semi-permanent and potentially very disturbing-looking injections. Plumping glosses give a nicer, more natural effect than injections.

If you could pay $50 for a friggin lipgloss, why not skip that and just have it injected?! It lasts longer. Hmmm. No Brainer! I paid $17 for my MAC Lipglass and wouldn't trade that stuff for the world!
