Would You Tattoo a Beauty Brand on Your Body?

More and more young people are getting tattoos of corporate logos. This isn't exactly news for people who have seen their fair share of Nike swooshes and golden-arches tats, but I was surprised to find out that one Indian man claims to have designed tattoos of logos from Dior and Benefit. I love wearing cosmetics—obviously!—but I'm not sure I'd go so far as to have Nars or Tarte permanently inked on my body. Would you?

Most of you are saying tattoos are suppose to mean something.. what does stars & butterflies & skulls & so on.. mean then? This doesnt even mean you are trying to advertise a brand it means you like it.. Jus like someone would like a star or butterfly ! i love chanel and im getting the logo on my back very soon..

I like pretty tattoos, but as for brands i prefer to wear them and wash them off and wear the clothes.

the only way that would EVER happen is if i made up my own brand. at least then it's more of a permanent reminder of your accomplishments

ONLY if I could get the company's products free for life (ahem, Chanel) and even still the tat would be small and discreetly placed!

Definitely not. I would never get any kind of tattoo, though. My hubby always says, why would anyone want to ruin a perfect canvas...and I agree with him. But to each his own. I do like hearing the stories about peoples tattoo's, and what they mean, and why they chose what they did. :)

I have several tattoos (got them before they were the rage, yes I'm over 40) but the average person would never know I have them and I would never get a logo tattoo ever. By the way, what's a PBR can tattoo?

Unless one of these brands is contracting to be a PERMANENT "sponsor" for life, i.e. providing a FULL ride for both my kids to attend colege, buying their cars, paying my mortgage and providing a monthly stipend directly to ME for shopping, traveling and whatever the hell else I feel like doing until I STOP breathing then the answer is a resounding HELL-to-the-NAW!

People like this are what designers count on. And I'm sure they're counting a lot...OF MONEY! Ha! Seriously, they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Chanel is supposed to be classy, when you tattoo it on yourself it becomes trashy.
