Would You Wear Heavy Eye Makeup For Spring?

Will You Wear Heavy Eye Makeup For Spring?

Spring brings many things to the table: warmer days, shorter hemlines, and palette after palette of pastel makeup hues. One thing you don't typically expect to see, however, is intensely dark eye makeup. But if certain stars' recent red carpet appearances are any indication, perhaps we'll be seeing plenty of deep black liner and heavy shadows this season.

This week, Vanessa Hudgens amped it up with coffee-toned shadow, plenty of kohl liner, and metallic sparkle, while Jena Malone went for an ultra-thick application of ebony liner. Malin Akerman also chose a dark black liner, but coupled hers with sparkly silver eye shadow. Intense eye makeup will definitely get you noticed, but is this the kind of look you'd wear right now, or do you prefer more seasonally traditional shades?

@kohina No no, i love the look, i just couldn't pull it off, and I couldn't bear wearing all that eye-make up in the warmer months!

I'm against lining my waterline ever since I woke up with my eyes swollen shut because of it. (so the picture in the middle is out the window!) I personally think that you should do what makes you happy and feel good. The only look I like in the picture above is Vanessa Hudgens' eye makeup. @kohina the people above are just stating their opinion. I think it's cool to do whatever you want to do, but I don't think you should take offense.

Also wearing colors to match the season waaaay is more tacky then heavier eye makeup to me. Wear what you like when you want is my motto. Do you girls not wear white after labor day too? *rolls eyes*

Uhh I kind of take offense to these comments. What's so bad about it? Cause I like to wear thick eyeliner all the time..
