Burberry Prorsum Ditches the Nude For a Vampy Palette

Typically Burberry Prorsum runway beauty is all neutral shades and barely there makeup, but for Fall 2014, things got dark, or at least, darker. The eye makeup was a mix of plum and beige shades created with the Burberry Complete Eye Palette in Nude Blush (coming this Fall). Instead of using a dark black liner, eyes were finished with a nude pencil and no mascara, keeping the look light and fresh. To balance the vampy smoky eye, the lip was a neutral rose color, but nails were coated with an aubergine polish called Elderberry (available this Fall from Burberry).

The hair was styled into mussed waves with a deep middle part. The finished look wasn't too high maintenance, but still an exciting departure from Burberry's minimalist tradition. Backstage, the mood was fun and carefree with models like Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, and Suki Waterhouse all cavorting before the catwalk.
