This Pantone Art Project Will Change the Way You See Skin Color

Beauty comes in every color — no matter your ethnicity, cultural heritage, or where you call home. No two of your neighbors are exactly alike. So when we discovered Brazilian artist Angélica Dass's project Humanae, we were moved by the beauty of so many very different-looking individuals.

Her photo project captures the true range of human skin color using the Pantone color system. She took a series of portraits in which women and men of all ages were placed in front of a background that was dyed to match their exact complexion. Scroll through to see the beautiful rainbow of skin, and take a moment to reflect on the truly limitless range of beauty that exists around us every day. Source: Angélica Dass
