The Television Critics Association's Summer press tour is starting to wind down, but we still have more scoop for you on what's coming to TV this Fall! In today's episode of The Buzz, Becky Kirsch and Shannon Vestal are taking a closer look at what's ahead on ABC, including new supernatural show 666 Park Avenue and Nashville, the series that goes behind the scenes of country music — some are speculating that one of the characters may even be based on Taylor Swift! We have that, plus more info on this year's Emmys show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Will his longtime rival Matt Damon make a cameo? Watch to hear what he says.

Did Nashville base a character on Taylor Swift? Be nice. Oh, I'm always nice. And Jimmy Kimmel is still bashing Matt Damon. Hi, I'm Becky Kirsch. I'm Shannon Vestal and in this episode of The Buzz, we're breaking down the highlights from ABC. ABC took its turn at the network TCA kicking off with one of our favorite new shows for fall, Nashville. It stars Connie Britton andHayden Panettiere as a pair of dueling country singers and since one's a little bit older and one's new to the industry, it's been the comparisons to actual country singers. That's right, and I think the obvious comparison for Hayden's character, Juliet, is Taylor Swift because both girls are young successful blonde country singers, but on stage Hayden said that wasn't the case that Taylor is actually much nicer than her character and later on, I actually got to interview both Hayden and Connie and Connie said that she did have some inspiration behind her character and she said that she looked to people like Faith Hill, Bonnie Raitt, and Reba McEntire. Well, you know, that's interesting because Reba McEntire was actually at the TCA the same day for her new show "Malibu Country" and people couldn't resist asking her some questions about Nashville and she said that she wouldn't mind making a guest appearance on the show, so maybe Taylor Swift will too. I would love to see that. Now another exciting thing at the TCA was that Jimmy Kimmel was there talking about the prime time Emmy awards and I am really psyched to see him host this year because Jimmy Fallon did a great job a couple of years ago. So I think there might be some advantage to having a late night host. I agree, and I know that Jimmy said some funny things about his old enemy Matt Matt Damon on stage. Well, of course, someone asked him because he has so many celebrity friends if Matt Damon would be making an appearance but jimmy Kimmel kept up their little spoof, fake rivalry, whatever you call it and said, "We don't speak. I despise him." And also made a joke about how Matt Damon's too busy making out with Liberace because he's making that Liberace movie. I really can't can't wait to see Kimmel hosting because I think he is going to make the show that much funnier. Me too. And he wouldn't give away too many things about what's gonna happen but he did say there are some surprises in store and you know he always comes up with those hilarious post-Oscar shows so I'm hoping he'll get a lot celebrity people in on this one too. Me too. I will kill you, Kimmel. How do you like Jim Grace? Another ABC show that's getting a lot of buzz is 666 Park Avenue, which is this new supernatural drama, which is gonna be on Sunday night. It's kind of taking the place of Desperate Housewives and will now be paired with Revenge. And it also stars a lot of people that used to be on other ABC shows. Yeah. If you've ever watched and loved an ABC show, basically you should tune to 666 Park Avenue because it has lots of familiar faces from the network. You've got Terry O'Quinn, who was Locke on Lost; Vanessa Williams, who was on Desperate Housewives; Dave Annable, who was on Brothers and Sisters and Rachel Taylor, who was on Grey's Anatomy. And I think the person I'm most excited to see is Terry O'Quinn. He's playing this character who may or may not be the devil. And when I interviewed Dave and Rachel, I had to ask them if it was intimidating working with Terry and what it was like to be around him. And, they said, he's not intimidating at all, but Rachel did say he's a very elegant actor. Lofton also came up during the panel because someone was asking him, what is it like to shoot in New York. He said, it's very distracting especially when people on buses are calling out, "Hey, Lock". Yeah, I think if that were me seeing Terry O'Guinn in real life I'd be doing that too. All right, well those are our highlights from ABC. Keep checking back for more updates on Fall TV. I'm Becky Kirsch. I'm Shannon Vestal and thanks for watching The Buzz.
