Some of Hollywood's most celebrated Latino actors, actresses, and musicians gathered in LA on Friday for the 2013 American Latino Media Arts Awards, which honored Latinos in the entertainment industry. First created in 1995, the ALMA Awards coincide with National Hispanic Heritage Month, and this year's show was cohosted by Mario Lopez and Eva Longoria, who sported several different looks throughout the night. Honorees included Robert Rodriguez, Carlos Santana, and Rosario Dawson, who earned the outstanding commitment to cause and community award, plus Wilmer Valderrama, who was presented with the outstanding social activism award in a preshow telecast. The live show also featured presenters like Jessica Alba, Christina Milian, and Modern Family's Rico Rodriguez. Eleven-year-old Sebastien De La Cruz sang the national anthem, while artists like Aloe Blacc and the group Quetzal also took the stage to perform.
