Amanda Seyfried on Men: I Need "Immediate" Sexual Attraction

Amanda Seyfried donned fishnets to strike a sexy pose for Elle magazine's August issue, which hits newsstands on July 23. She's gearing up to hit the big screen in her "riskiest" role yet, playing famed porn star Linda Lovelace for her biopic, Lovelace, which hits theaters on Aug. 9. Along with chatting about her upcoming film as her defining career moment, Amanda got candid with the publication about the need for an immediate sexual attraction to men and her current secret crush. Here's more from Amanda Seyfried in Elle:

  • On playing the role of porn star Linda Lovelace : "I read the script and I was like, 'Wow, this is the riskiest thing that's happening [in Hollywood] right now.' The first thing you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, 'This is my chance to show them, to show the industry, to be recognized.'"
  • On the need for physical attraction in a relationship : "Everybody I've dated I've been sexually attracted to immediately. Sparks don't grow — your vagina doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them."
  • On her current crush: "[He's] someone separate from my industry life — I've known him since he was 16 . . . I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it is a fantasy right now."

"Sparks don't grow — your vagina doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them." So wrong about this, Amanda Seyfried. I totally disliked my husband for years, before I fell madly in love with him---including intense sexual attraction.
