Amy Adams's Random Act of Kindness Will Warm Your Heart

Amy Adams gave up her first-class seat on a flight from Detroit to LA after she noticed a uniformed soldier was flying on her plane in coach. ESPN2 host Jemele Hill, who was also on the flight, saw Amy switch her seat with the soldier so he could have a more comfortable ride. "I noticed Ms. Adams was in first class, and as I was getting seated, I saw the flight attendant guide the soldier to Ms. Adams's seat. She was no longer in it, but it was pretty clear that she'd given up her seat for him," Jemele said. "Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character. And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate!" Amy may have been prompted to switch her seat by her own family history, as her father, Richard Kent, was a member of the military.
