From cute family outings to a star-studded date night — see Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's weekend in New Orleans! Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw and we have the details in today's PopSugar Rush. It was a busy weekend in New Orleans for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as the A-listers brought their star power to the South for Brad's Make it Right Campaign. Brad was spotted giving a tour of the Ninth Ward to Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, to show her the progress his foundation has made with the construction of sustainable homes in the area. And everywhere Brad went, locals stopped to say hi. Brad: Mrs. LeBlanc, hello! It goes alright, how goes it with you? Mrs. LeBlanc: Long time, no see! Brad: I know, too long, my bad." Brad: Hello! Brad reportedly teared up a little on his visit, telling a reporter from Reuters: "Each time I come back to New Orleans and drive over that bridge, I get this swell of joy. It means a lot to me to watch that neighborhood take shape." Ellen will share footage from the visit on an upcoming episode of her show, but Ellen and Brad also co-hosted a charity auction on Saturday night with big stars like Kanye West, Sean Penn, and Rihanna, which raised $4 million dollars for the foundation. Angelina was by Brad's side for the evening, giving a big smile to onlookers as the couple arrived, and she reportedly even took to the dance floor and got down to Rihanna once inside. New Orleans is an area that's become close to both of the stars' hearts. They own a home in the French Quarter district, and Angelina ventured out just yesterday for a stroll to the local market with Pax, Zahara, and Vivienne. But the jet-set family never stays in one place for too long. They were back on a plane later in the day to say goodbye to New Orleans for now.
