Angelina's Sad She Can't Go to Disneyland

Angelina's Sad She Can't Go to Disneyland

Angelina, Brad and the kids were back at the airport after a quick trip to NYC for the premiere of The Good Shepherd. Angie even opened up about how she and Brad fell in love. Angelina is planning her future with Brad and it includes more children, but at the same time she understands that it's difficult for her to give them a normal life. Here's more:

She makes every effort to give her children a normal life, despite her own fame. "I've made a point to not let it change the way that I live my life, other than I carefully plan my holidays or where we go or where we stay or things like that to try to ensure some kind of quality of life that is private and nice for the kids. But we simply don't let it affect us."

She does admit, though, that there are challenges: "I think that the only time that it is hard is when the kids want to go somewhere and want to see something. I've had so many people offer to take my children to Disneyland or places that I can't take them. And they don't understand how upsetting that is.

"People offered to take my kids trick or treating or take my kids to whatever – things that they assume my kids can't do. So we plan to find ways to do all of those things. There are worse problems and so we're okay."

This Halloween, she said, "We were in India and so we had this really odd celebration at the hotel. We just had candy and costumes sent from the states and so we all dressed up. Z had a really big afro and Maddox had dreadlocks. We had some fun with dress-up."

What is it that draws Jolie – who is supporting an orphanage in Zahara's native Ethiopia and fighting for legislation on behalf of AIDS orphans – to children? "They're fun. They're just a joy. It's a joy of life that exists nowhere else."

That's so sad that the kids can't go to Disneyland but at least Brad and Angelina have thought of other creative ways to entertain them. Besides, we bet if they wanted to rent the entire park for the day that they could make it happen. For more pics just

Considering all the places these kids have been to already, I would think Disneyworld would seem a little lame to them.

Yeah i meant i hope they learn how to style "natural" black hair instead of puting relaxers in her head. It wasnt a racist thing at all, hell alot of blacks dont even know what you can do with natural hair.

A lot of comments here. Adoption is a good doesn't matter where you adopt.... the US or abroad. Zahara's hair is pretty. They have a beautiful family. _______________________________________________________ Brad is so hot!

Love this family. Always loved Angie. She seems to be a really good Mom so I'm happy for whoever in this world ends up in her arms. The Disneyland comment was probably just their perspective on things. I would imagine their lives are easier than ours in ways and harder in others. I would love to be rich, but I would also like to go shopping on a saturday morning with my hair in a ponytail and no makeup on without someone taking my picture and putting it in various magazines with different reasons as to why I look the way I do. Sorry... terrible case of P.M.S.

notoriousrem, The waitlist for infants is long but for kids 4+ you can have an adoption finalized in 6months. But most people want the BABIES. I think someone made a comment about that a ways back

also, is ok to find another culture fascinating and want to be part of it as well? I am fascinated with the Japanese culture, and if I adopted a child from Japan, I would want them to fully understand thier own backgound and how special it is, and I woulkd hope nobody would be up my butt about it.

Thank you nya2001- I am so over people freaking out over certain words. We can all agree there are racist a ss people out there, but I just feel sorry them, they are idiots. For evey person like that, there is another that feels totally different.

i wish people would stop bashing people who choose to adopt from other countries, saving a child is saving a child...people don't adopt from the US cuz they make it so damn hard to adopt kids here, in most cases they make you wait 5+ years which is so uncalled for...i have watched both of my aunts go thru the process of adoption and its not an easy thing but it is one of the most beautiful, selfless things one can do... "stay far from timid, only make moves when your hearts in it and live the phrase sky's the limit."

lol ny2001. Not specifically at your comment but it made me think of Sinbad (i think) who did the jokes about "white guilt" how some whites (caucasions pc) are overly sensitive about "racist" comments even more so than minorities because of their guilt about slavery and the holocaust. It's really funny maybe I can find some quotes online

Racist schmacist, why does everything have to be racist I'm black and I'm just so tired of having to tiptoe around people who think I'm being offensive when I talk about my race or my skin colour and they aren't black, when did the world get so politically correct?(ps it does make for some fun times acting offended at people here cos they are so afraid of being offensive). I'm sure very soon black will be an offensive word.

I too like that she's not just blaming the paps for everything, and I agree that closing down Disneyland is not "normal" but it could be done. My parents wanted to take our son to Disneyland for the first time and we were like NO WAY, so I understand that it would be hard to let someone else do that with your kids. I love that they do their own little thing to make the holidays special.

I agree mar, with both your points. I have the thinnest blonde hair and it will not do ANYTHING except go flat.

thr reality is that kinky hair in general ( half my family is hispanic with kinky hair) looks cool in certain styles, the limper fine hair just does nt take certain forms. I really do not even know how this came up, but it is just how I see it. It seems that any topic today takes on a racist format when it just should not.

I agree with mar that I am one of her favorite people on here and we never agree. Except for that....

I think he means that Zahara will be able to do a lot with her hair if they learn about it as opposed to just relaxing it etc. Not that I'm part of this convo. but I don't think it was meant to be racist. I see what you're saying though Deba and I see how it can be taken as totally rude.
Deba Deba 9 years
"all that can be done with it...", lucky chick she can do wherever she wants with hair and black girls cant... thats rude...
