France and French people around the world celebrated Bastille Day on Sunday, and the biggest celebration took place on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. French President Francois Hollande rode in a jeep down the famous avenue, while the French military marched alongside him. The country's air force added color to the event by flying with blue, white, and red over the Arc de Triomphe. French citizens filled the streets to wave their tricolor flags during the celebratory event, and fireworks filled the sky at night. Click through to see more great pictures from France's big day.
