Bindi Irwin Shares a Beautiful Message About Her Dad After the 9th Anniversary of His Death
Bindi Irwin is keeping her dad's legacy alive. The actress shared an emotional message on Instagram about her late father, Steve Irwin, on Monday, three days after the ninth anniversary of his death. Steve died on Sept. 4, 2006, from a stingray attack while snorkeling in Australia. "Thinking about home today," she wrote. "Father's Day is today in Australia and everyone is celebrating at Australia Zoo. It's such a special time of year, I hope everyone who comes to the zoo today is able to enjoy it with our gorgeous animals. No matter where I am in the world, this day means such a lot to me. My heart forever lives @AustraliaZoo - just like Dad's always did." And Bindi, who is currently in the US preparing to compete on the new season of Dancing With the Stars, has grown up to become an almost spitting image of her dad.
