First Lady Michelle Obama welcomed high school students to the White House on Friday for a workshop about film-industry careers, inviting Blake Lively as one of the event speakers. Students from Washington DC, New York, and Boston gathered in the East Room to talk about Hollywood opportunities, while industry figures including Blake, Whoopi Goldberg, Naomie Harris, and producer Harvey Weinstein answered their questions. Blake's trip to DC comes after a low-key LA outing with her husband Ryan Reynolds's dog by her side. The actress recently flew to New Orleans where Ryan is filming his latest movie, Selfless, and she also jetted to Paris where it was announced that she's the new face of L'Oreal.
