The Boston Herald got this photo of Leonardo looking adorable and young. He reminds me of his Basketball Diaries days with that innocent yet annoyed look on his face. It turns out the he did not wanted to be bothered (no shock there) but the Boston press got a money shot and they are psyched about it. Then they proceed to point out how the Boston native Matt Damon has been so press friendly in NYC on the set of his new film. No favoritism there. Read the Herald's story below:
Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese were hard at it on Charles Street yesterday where filming continued on the Boston crime saga ``The Departed.''
The Hollywood superstar, who is notoriously press shy, has apparently had it with the local press and yesterday Leo played Catch Me If You Can with the local photographers.
We did – despite the fact that a ``Departed'' crew member was assigned to stand in front of the cameramen all day and put his hand in front of their lenses as they attempted to snap DiCaprio!
Meanwhile, in New York, Matt Damon happily posed for pictures with fans on the set of ``The Good Shepherd.'' Damon, whose ``The Brothers Grimm'' opens tomorrow has finished up his Boston ``Departed'' scenes and moved onto the Robert DiNiro-helmed ``Shepherd.''
Too bad the Herald does not know how to spell DeNiro's name right.
Thanks to Amelia for the scoop.
