Brad and Angie Just Can't Give Enough

Brad and Angie Just Can't Give Enough

Angelina and Brad obviously have their hands full with all four kids finally at home together, but they've still got the time (and the obvious, resources) to do good. The couple just donated $100,000 to help build the first modern medical center in Duk County, Sudan. The facility, called The Duk Lost Boys Clinic, is named after the "lost boys" of Sudan, a subject covered in the documentary God Grew Tired of Us, which Brad executive produced. Angelina also recently opened up about the time she's spent in Sudan and how close the cause is to her heart. One week it's an adoption headline, the next a donation headline. What's next? Dare we say a pregnancy headline? We doubt it but with this growing family you never know what's next.

You guys make me laugh. Really hard. Lol. I have to second what MisterPink said; the money goes a lot farther in other countries. At any rate, I support AJ in what she's doing. -------------------------- "... Every individual is an island and can be an island. Darkntwisty, being condesending doesn't mean that you are correct. You can't dispute that their generosity is helping people, and you can't ignore the fact that they didn't make the announcement, the director of the Sudan Project did. This isn't one of those charity events with a red carpet where celbs go to get press. This is a part of her life and has been for nearly a decade. Since her first introduction to these issues, she has been completely dedicated to the cause. You have nothing to support your idea that she is doing this just for attention.

dark-how come you try to speak so eloquently in the brad and angelina posts(and judge others who do not) but you call womens breasts tit's? anyhoo, im not sure if anyone knew this or not, but they are ce-le-bri-ties. ya they make money off of pub-li-city. so they can make movies, throw some money at some worthy cause, make the general public aware of said cause so they can throw money at it, public says "wow blah blah and blah blah are great, im going to watch their movie", blah blah and blah blah make MORE money to throw at MORE causes and charities. so the various get public awareness and funding, some kid sleeps in a warm bed and somewhere along the line madonna adopts a kid from africa. everyone is pretty much winning in the situation, sooo why is that so offensive to some people? TEAM FLUTTER!!!!!

Yawn - I wish I could be so easily manipulated and bamboozled. Life certainly would be simpler.

"First of all they did not make the announcement, the director of the Sudan Project did, and this is what he said. Said John Dau, the Director of Direct Change’s Sudan Project, “Words cannot express my gratitude and the gratitude of the people of Duk County Sudan. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt demonstrate the American spirit of generosity. HOPEFULLY, THEIR DONATIONS WILL INSPIRE OTHERS TO JOIN WITH US TO REBUILD SOUTHERN SUDAN." I am not sure if they gave him permission to make the statement about their donation, but if they did it is because that was the only way the project would make headlines. If their name wasn't attached do you think this would have got much mainstream press coverage, and it is only an added bonus that their names make it so far reaching that people who read" Rainee, thanks much. It's a simple fact of "look at me, now look over there."

Here is a site you can check what celeb gives how much to whom. Where you can judge if the cause is worthy, applaud or complain if you feel it's not. I noticed that not every one time gift, or every sponsership is listed for some of the celebs that I know did support at one time or another, but for the most part it's pretty accurate. http://www.looktothestars.org/

No matter what --- I love them! They actually are a beautoful couple. Not all pictures are the same, lighting makes a picture look awful or decent. This one I think is not that bad. They do look like bigger than life. Can you imagine if you see them in person??? I am sure one can forget themselves and just stare at AJ and BP with some intimidation.

as for The Supposed Most Beautiful Couple Alive, they both look a bit like wax. And they are making me feel bad with all their do-gooding.
