Bradley Cooper posed at the bedside of Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman at Boston Medical Center this week. Bradley, who has been on location in the area filming American Hustle with Jennifer Lawrence, was also accompanied by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots. The survivor, Jeff, lost both of his legs in the attack and also reportedly helped authorities identify one of the suspects despite his current medical state.
Bradley wasn't the only one to show his support for the victims and survivors of the tragedy as President Obama touched down in Boston yesterday to pay his respects at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also thanked emergency crews and law enforcement officers who have been tirelessly working on the case. The president left the city with a message of hope in his address, saying, "We may be momentarily knocked off our feet, but we will pick ourselves up. We will keep going. We will finish the race."
Currently, the entire city of Boston is on lockdown while authorities search for a second suspect believed to be responsible for Monday's Boston Marathon bombings, which left at least three dead, including an 8-year-old boy, and hundreds injured. The first suspect, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed last night.
