Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Leonardo DiCaprio were among the stars who poured into the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in LA for BAFTA's award-season tea party on Saturday. The annual party is a celebration of the best of entertainment, a star-studded warmup for Sunday's Golden Globes. POPSUGAR caught up with several actors on the red carpet, including Cate, who donned a collared scarlet red dress by Michael Kors. The color was appropriate given her views on award season. Even after all the accolades she's received, Cate said winning an award is always like "Christmas Day."
Before teatime, Michael Fassbender and director Steve McQueen wrapped their arms around each other on the red carpet. Steve joked that Michael is the worst to work with and always shows up "two hours late to set" in the morning. Inside, Aaron Paul and Chiwetel Ejiofor had the chance to mingle with Hollywood greats like Tom Hanks and Martin Scorsese.
