Jennifer Lopez worked her curves and the red carpet in a stunning Tom Ford gown when she attended the Fourth Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala at the Plaza Hotel in NYC last night. She was one of the guests of honor at the benefit as she received the humanitarian award for her work raising funds for AIDS and HIV research. Other celebrity attendees included Uma Thurman, who wore Atelier Versace; Candice Swanepoel, who showed off a new bleached 'do; and a Carlie Wong-clad Carly Rae Jepsen, who performed at the charity bash.
After taking the stage to claim her award, Jennifer Lopez shared a laugh with André Leon Talley and mingled with other fashionable partygoers. Later in the night she tweeted, "Beautiful evening amfAR Inspiration gala! So humbled to be honored by these agents of change. Thank you Andre Leon Talley and amfAR." J Lo is back in the States after stopping over in London to appear on Britan's Got Talent and perform at the Chime For Change concert a few weeks ago. Earlier this week, Jennifer discovered she had landed a coveted movie role in the middle of a radio interview. J Lo could barely contain her excitement after she discovered she had landed the gig, but she stopped short of revealing what movie she will be in, saying, "It's a small movie but it's a great role, and a lot of people wanted it."
