He may not be in Fifty Shades of Grey anymore, but that doesn't mean that Charlie Hunnam is out of work. The actor returned to the set of his hit FX series, Sons of Anarchy, in LA yesterday, just a few days after it was announced that he was dropping out of the highly anticipated film based on the erotic novel by E L James. While the official word has been that Charlie dropped out of the film due to scheduling conflicts with Sons of Anarchy, many fans aren't buying that excuse, especially since scheduling was most likely worked out before Charlie signed on for the gig. Plenty of people have begun to speculate why Charlie dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey, with many saying that the actor was turned off by the media attention and one source even saying that Charlie "was never going to do" the film and had told his agents early on that he was planning to pull out. Another tipster claimed that Charlie didn't want to become Robert Pattinson, who shot to fame with the Twilight series. One thing that all the sources seem to agree on is that Charlie is dedicated to his work on Sons of Anarchy.
Charlie has been going about his business ever since he announced his departure from the project. He spent the weekend serving as the best man at his pal's wedding in LA.
