Charlize Theron popped up at the AFI Film Festival's premiere of Lone Survivor on Tuesday night to show support for her friends Mark Wahlberg and screenwriter Peter Berg. The actress skipped the red carpet for the premiere but happily mingled with Mark, whom she costarred with in The Yards and The Italian Job, and Peter, whom she worked with on Hancock. She also chatted with new dad Emilie Hirsch, who costars with Mark in the new military drama.
During a Q&A panel after the film's premiere, Mark went off on actors who compare their physical training for films to what actual soldiers go through. "For actors to sit there and talk about 'oh I went to SEAL training'? I don't give a f*ck what you did," Mark said. "You don't do what these guys did. For somebody to sit there and say my job was as difficult as being in the military? How f*ck*ng dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for two hours." Mark's latest will hit theaters on Jan. 10.
