Miranda and Blake Win Big at the Star-Studded CMA Awards
Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood shined on the Country Music Association Awards red carpet, then headed inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to honor the genre's best music of the year. Carrie shared hosting honors with Brad Paisley, and the duo ran a joke-filled show that even included a "Gangnam Style" spoof. Neither Carrie nor Taylor ended up taking home a prize, but both took the stage to perform. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Nashville's Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere were on hand, too. Many stars were thrilled with their victories. Miranda Lambert got emotional when she and husband Blake Shelton won song of the year for their duet, "Over You." Blake was the evening's biggest winner with a total of three new statues, and was also crowned entertainer of the year.
