David Beckham kicked back at a basketball game in Miami yesterday. He sat courtside to watch the Miami Heat play the Indiana Pacers, marking the second Heat game that he has attended since arriving in Florida last week. Justin Bieber also landed a courtside seat at the game, but the two stars did not interact on the court, with Justin staying close to his bodyguard and a female companion. This isn't the first time that David and Justin have attended the same sporting event, as Justin was in the stands when the Beckhams reunited with Tom Cruise at a LA Kings game last Tuesday.
David's time in Miami has been stirring up speculation that he may be thinking about bringing an MLS soccer team to the sunny city. He has been spending quite a bit of time with Marcelo Claure, a billionaire mogul who has been vocal about buying an MLS team for Miami. Marcelo was by David's side last night, but the two have not yet made an announcement about the possible new team. David has plenty of time to devote to team ownership as he officially retired from playing soccer last month.
