During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, Denzel Washington talked about the sweet reunion he recently had with his childhood librarian, Connie Mauro. After giving her a call on her 99th birthday, the actor eventually made a trip out to Atlanta to visit with her and simultaneously made our hearts melt with all the adorable pictures. Aside from joking with the host about the blue scarf she knitted for him, he also touched on how even the smallest gesture, like Connie giving him his first library card, can go a long way. "You never know who you affect . . . a positive, uplifting word can go a lifetime." So sweet!
