Elisabetta Talks About Life With George — Are You Warming To Her, Or Not Yet

Elisabetta Talks About Life With George — Are You Warming to Her, or Not Yet?

Elisabetta Canalis opened up to Italian Vanity Fair about her life with megastar George Clooney. She made many women jealous by snagging George's heart, and Elisabetta is well aware of that. She spoke to the magazine about their relationship, touching on how happy she is and all the attention they get.

  • On her happiness: "I am happy like I was when I was 18 years old. Those who criticize or invent stories about us are just jealous."
  • On the Italian media attention: "It might seem a cliché, but unfortunately it is true: the Italians never support their own citizens who earn an opportunity or a recognition abroad. . . I don't expect to be celebrated, but neither do I expect the newspapers of our country to use as a reference point a gossip blog which is full of insults, racism and violence."
  • On people being jealous: "We are together. I have heard of women – even famous women – that due to this [relationship] removed his photo as screensavers from their computers. Maybe I am a bit stressed. But in the end the best revenge over these jealous people is to be happy. Because that is the thing they do not forgive you for."

You were surprised that George and Elisabetta made it to the one-year mark, and it seems as though she's not going anywhere. George's taste in women has always been questionable, but tell us what you think about Elisabetta's talking about her life with him — are you warming to her, or not yet?

Sorry I don't keep up with George Clooney and Elisabetta everyday antics, I do have a life you know. So I googled Twittergate: She never said Iggy Pop and Jennifer Aniston were ugly. They both are slender with the same color blonde hair and the same hairstylestyle. She was probably being facetious, but you can't poke fun at folks without someone taken it too seriously. Elisabetta Canalis should have known better and was clearly wrong. I bet good money Jennifer Aniston laughed, because I did when I googled their pictures, Iggy Pop could be her older brother. And did I ever type that Jennifer Aniston or Iggy Pop were unattractive, no, but I bet money folks will jump to that conclusion with their replies.

@Debbie Boone... Smuttypop's Internet pet peeves: women calling other women ugly and folks attacking children. I didn't attack anyone, just stated I'd like to see photos of folks calling her and any other chick ugly. This a predominately female site, so it saddens/piss me off that a community full of women attack other women looks. This is exactly why some of them fly off the hinges and get tons of plastic surgery. Some of them or at least their publicist reads what is written about them. I am worse when it comes to attacking children. No I don't work, know George Clooney or Elisabetta Canalis.

Damn calling a chick outside her name was a sure sign of jealousy, in my day. I'd like to see photos of the people calling her ugly, and we can compare your looks to hers. Eh she's been shitted on for a whole year, people are just human, she's sick and tired of the negative comments. She deserves a little rant. She is right about the Italians and the Italian press they kept bringing up the fact that she dated some black soccer players as if that was a crime, no mention of the white men she has dated. I thought that mess was very racist as well.
