Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we're taking you to WonderCon where we chatted with Emma Stone about The Amazing Spider-Man. Find out why she says Andrew Garfield's part in the film is way more daunting than hers in PopSugar Rush. Emma Stone showed off a big smile and a lighter hair color at WonderCon in Anaheim, CA over the weekend. The actress came out for The Amazing Spider-Man panel on Saturday along with the film's director Marc Webb, and she met up with our own PopSugar editor Lindsay Miller backstage. LINDSAY MILLER, POPSUGAR EDITOR: A very humble Emma told us that she thought her boyfriend and costar Andrew Garfield had a much more challenging time on The Amazing Spider-Man than she. EMMA STONE: I think his task in a way was more daunting than mine, because it was so physically demanding, and he was all there every day, and I got a good come and go, and got to think about it, rather than doing it constantly . . . Not that Emma didn't get her share of the heat over taking on an iconic role like Gwen Stacy. Inside the panel, she joked with fans in the crowd about the pressure she felt from the comic series. EMMA: I read the message boards. PANEL LEADER: How was that? EMMA: What do you mean it was so great, it was totally not nerve-wrecking, and everyone was so supportive. EMMA: Then I realized I had to just kind of buckle down and do her justice in the best way I could. Andrew unfortunately could not make it out for this latest Spider-Man appearance, since he's currently in New York performing on Broadway in Death of a Salesman, but it looks like his offscreen relationship with Emma is still going strong. She came out to support her boyfriend at his opening night just last week.
