Honey Maid Fights Homophobia With a Heartwarming Ad

Just over a month ago, Honey Maid released a new TV commercial that explored what it means to be wholesome. In just 30 seconds, the ad features an incredibly diverse range of families — families with same-sex parents, biracial parents, and even a set of parents with tattoos and drum sets. The message seems pretty clear: these families are wholesome, and they enjoy wholesome honey-flavored snacks.

According to Honey Maid, it received a bunch of negative responses to the ad. People were saying it had offended millions of American families and that the ad was disgusting.
