James Franco has been getting a lot of attention on Instagram lately, from his flirtations with underage girls to his racy shirtless selfies. While James's brother, Dave Franco, admitted that he was mystified by James's behavior on social media, James explained his actions when he dropped by The Late Show on Thursday. "To me it's just a fun thing, it's something I don't put a ton of thought into, but it gets a lot of attention," James said when asked about his now infamous selfie. He also noted that he shared his infamous selfie because it was unattractive: "Like that Britney Spears shaved head moment, where it's sort of like, 'All right, you want me? Here you can have me, but I am going to be really ugly.' You know what I mean?" He added, "I didn't ask you to look at it, it's what the people want!" Watch James answer for his social media oversharing above.
