Remember last month when Jay Z performed his song "Picasso Baby" for six hours straight at NYC's Pace Gallery? Well, the resulting music video has been released, and we have to admit: it's pretty great. Jay took over the space with the intention of fusing hip-hop and performance art, and the presentation brought out a who's-who of famed New York artists, fashion designers, families, and actors — including a few cast members from Girls.
The rapper holds nothing back during the performance piece and doesn't shy away from getting up close and personal with his fans. He dances with actress Taraji P. Henson, lets Jemima Kirke run up and give him a hug, and has a hilarious exchange with Judd Apatow, who pretends to take a phone call during the show. Jay also shows his softer side while sitting and rapping with a pair of young boys, rustling their hair, and even letting one of the little guys wear his giant gold chain. Watch now to see all the stars who pop up in Jay Z's video, including Rosie Perez, Marina Abramović, Jenna Lyons, and Michelle Williams's new artist boyfriend Dustin Yellin.
