Award season is currently abuzz with praise for two incredible films: Hidden Figures and Fences. Although they couldn't be more different (the first is about three black women who did groundbreaking work for NASA in the '60s and the latter an adaptation of August Wilson's play starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis), Jenna Bush Hager experienced an awkward moment when she confused the two movies on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday night. While speaking with Pharrell, who was nominated for best original score for his contributions to the Hidden Figures soundtrack, she asked him about his work in "Hidden Fences." When faced with a question about the nonexistent film, Pharrell reacted with an appropriately confused face that is truly a sight to behold.

Later on, Michael Keaton ended up making the exact same mistake while reading out nominees during the broadcast, which prompted plenty of Twitter users to criticize both Michael and Jenna's confounding error. On Monday morning, Jenna appeared on Today, where she tearfully expressed her remorse over the flub. "If I offended people, I am deeply sorry. It was a mistake, because you all know, I am not perfect," she said. "I am authentic, but a human. What I didn't want to do is make anybody feel lesser than who they are. So, anyway, I hope . . . I apologized to both the cast, to Pharrell, but it was a mistake, and I hope we can all move on." Watch her apology below.
