Jennifer Lawrence radiated glamour at AFI Fest in Hollywood on Friday, giving us another glimpse of her new pixie haircut at a tribute to acclaimed director David O. Russell. Jennifer was dressed to the nines for the star-studded occasion, donning a cutout top that revealed her cleavage and flawless midriff beneath a black blazer. The biggest moment of the night came when Jennifer spoke with Jane Fonda, with whom she has a lot in common — both are insanely talented Academy Award-winning actresses who made it big in Tinseltown at a young age and earned a reputation for speaking their mind. The two blue-eyed blonde bombshells looked picture-perfect next to each other (almost like mother and daughter!) and have us thinking about how much we'd love to see them on the silver screen together.
If anyone can make a collaboration between Jennifer and Jane happen, it's David, with whom Jennifer enjoys a rewarding professional relationship. David directed Jennifer in Silver Linings Playbook, for which the starlet won the best actress Oscar this year, and in the upcoming film American Hustle with Bradley Cooper. Jennifer has been keeping up a hectic schedule lately to promote the The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, which hits theaters on Nov. 22. Ahead of the release, the 23-year-old actress visited Northern California on Wednesday for The Hunger Games Global Fan Day.
