The cast of The Hunger Games posed in the Vanity Fair Dec. issue with Scarlett Johansson on the cover while on set in North Carolina. Stars Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Liam Hemsworth were in earth tones alongside Isabelle Fuhrman, Jack Quaid, Jacqueline Emerson, Dayo Okeniyi, Leven Rambin, Alexander Ludwig, and Amandla Stenberg. The first movie in the blockbuster trilogy won't be out until next year, but fans of the series are already excited.
Jennifer shared her thoughts on her role of Katniss with the magazine. She said, “Katniss is an incredible character: she’s a hunter but not a killer, a 16-year-old who’s being forced into the arena. These kids are killing one another only because if they don’t they’ll die. It’s heartbreaking." It wasn't all work and no play while they filmed the picture, which involved lots of fight scenes, dirt, and generally rough conditions. Josh added to Vanity Fair, "Jennifer and I totally hit it off. We’re both crazy people — we don’t hold anything back.”
