J Lo Goes From "Jenny From the Block" to the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Jennifer Lopez received the 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today and was joined by friends and loved ones for the long-anticipated celebration. After her star unveiling, the actress and singer cuddled up for pictures with her parents, David and Guadalupe; her sister, Lynda; and her twin children, Emme and Max. Casper Smart was on hand for his girlfriend's big-time recognition, as was Jennifer's good friend and music collaborator Pitbull. While Jennifer took the stage with Pitbull on Tuesday to perform at the Hollywood Bowl, today he attended the ceremony to speak about his friend's many great accomplishments. Jennifer's Monster-in-Law costar Jane Fonda and former dance buddy Keenen Ivory Wayans also spoke in her honor. Jennifer's special star unveiling comes a day after she reunited with her ex-husband Marc Anthony to spend family time with their children. Her personal excursion was a breather from a busy month. Jennifer was overseas in early June to perform at the Chime For Change charity benefit in London, nabbed the humanitarian award at an amfAR gala last week, and has officially signed on to costar with Antonio Banderas in the Chilean-miner-inspired film The 33.
