Jim Carrey hit the stage at Iowa's Maharishi University of Management on Saturday to deliver an inspiring, hilarious graduation speech to the class of 2014. During his time at the podium, the funny actor talked about how his father wanted to be a comedian but chose to pursue accounting instead. "I learned many great lessons from my father," said Carey, "not the least of which was that you could fail at what you don't love, so you may as well take a chance on doing what you love." He kept the wisdom coming, adding a touch of humor as he said, "If it doesn't happen for you right away, it's only because the universe is so busy fulfilling my order." Carrey also received an honorary degree from the university. Watch his full speech above!
