Jonah Hill Apologizes For His Homophobic Remarks

Jun 3 2014 - 10:36pm

Jonah Hill [1] has been under fire recently for using a slur directed at a paparazzo this weekend, and while he already apologized on The Howard Stern Show [2], he also addressed the controversy during his guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week. "Unfortunately, this isn't a joke," Hill began, before explaining that he had been harassed all day by paparazzi before he made the remark. "I didn't mean this in . . . a homophobic way. I think that doesn't matter. Words have weight and meaning, and the word I chose was grotesque." Hill went on to say, "My heart is broken, and I genuinely am deeply sorry . . . Use me as an example of what not to do. Don't respond with hurt or anger . . . I know I'm usually funny and stuff, but this isn't funny, and I deserve to get sh*t for it." Watch his earnest apology below.
