Josh Hutcherson was looking dapper in Z Zegna when he hit the black carpet at this evening's world premiere of The Hunger Games in LA. He stopped to chat with us about working with Oscar nominated Jennifer Lawrence and the funny coincidence that they're both from near where they shot the District 12 scenes for the movie. Since he's one of the lucky few who have seen the finished product, we asked what he thinks fans will feel about the highly anticipated cave scene and he revealed that he's "proud" of how it came out. Check out our chat with Josh and see all our coverage of The Hunger Games on DistrictSugar.com.View Transcript »
Sugar right now. Oh fantastic. Live! Oh my God! It's amazing! I gotta know what went through your head when you learned you were going to be staring opposite Oscar nominee, Jennifer Lawrence. I was so excited, you know, I've known Jen for a long time, and she's from Kentucky as well. So, yeah. It's an instant kind of connective tissue between us. But it was great, I mean she's so nice, so down to earth, and an incredibly talented actress. Was there something about being from Kentucky that's sort of shared some things in common with District 12? Oh, 100%. Yeah. It's just so crazy to me that Jen and I are both from the same place and on top of that, the same place where District 12 is in real life, just kind of us very serendipitous on the whole situation. Now last question, do you think fans will be let down by the cave scene, or will it live up to their expectations? It lived up to my expectations. You know, I was very excited to shoot that scene. I love it from the book, love it in the script. So I think that yeah, I'm very proud of it. Well enjoy your night, thank you. Thank you.
