Kate Bosworth and her date, director Michael Polish, didn't hide their affection for each other today at the opening ceremony of the Deauville Film Festival in Deavuille, France. Kate chose a simple, retro-inspired Valentino frock for the red-carpet affair, and Michael only had eyes for her as they got cozy at the event. The duo, who worked together on the upcoming movie Big Sur, first stepped out together publicly at a Coldplay concert in LA in May and have been seen on several dates in Southern California since. Kate wasn't the only young actress in attendance at the festival's opening ceremony this evening, as Emma Stone arrived in a floor-length gold gown that set off her auburn locks. Emma's Summer box-office hit The Help will be screened several times during the 10-day festival, and Kate is on hand to promote her film Another Happy Day.
