Kate Hudson and her son Ryder Robinson chowed down on sandwiches during her break from work on the set of The Reluctant Fundamentalist in NYC on Tuesday. This marks Kate's return to making movies after giving birth to her baby Bing in July. This film is based on the NY Times best-selling novel that takes place over the course of a single night. Kate traded her signature blond locks for a darker do for the role and was barely recognizable when she started filming her serious scenes with costar Riz Ahmed. Hudson and her boys Ryder and Bing took off from London, where they spent much of the Summer with her fiancé Matthew Bellamy and his family, last week. Kate also caught up with friends like Kate Moss while in the UK when she wasn't exploring with Ryder. Matthew's band Muse is currently on a break from touring, so perhaps he'll be joining Kate, Ryder, and their little one Bing in the Big Apple soon.
