Kate Middleton looked like a true princess in an ink-blue Jenny Packham gown at the 100 Women in Hedge Funds gala tonight at the Kensington Palace State Apartments. The day after Prince George's christening, Kate traded personal duties for a more professional setting, but she didn't have to travel far, since the event was held at the palace where she, Prince William, and baby George live. The party supported a nonprofit made up of women in the investment industry who volunteer and raise money for women in family health, education, and mentoring. Prince William has been a patron of 100 Women in Hedge Funds since 2009, and in 2012, Kate joined her husband as a patron too.
As we saw at yesterday's christening, Kate is clearly smitten with her new baby, but she's officially back from maternity leave, fitting in three royal events over the span of seven days. Whether she's playing volleyball or supporting charities, she also brings a smile. Check out her latest appearance now.
