The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, closed out the first day of their North American tour by attending an informal barbecue at Rideau Hall in Ottawa. Kate and William greeted some of the young people selected to attend the event, which honored the "efforts of Canadian youth towards a smart and caring nation." Kate Middleton wore Issa and her famous LK Bennet wedges for the evening, which was originally scheduled to take place outside, but was moved when there were sudden rain showers. There's no time for the royal newlyweds to have any jetlag, as the first day of their tour was jam packed with appearances. Kate Middleton wore Canadian designer Erdem for their first stop in Ottawa, where Prince William addressed the crowd gathered for a glimpse at the gorgeous duo. Tomorrow will be another huge day for William and Kate, when they take part in the Canada Day celebrations in the city.
