Kanye West's NYFW Show Was a Real Star-Studded Spectacle

It was a family affair at Kanye West's Adidas runway show during New York Fashion Week on Thursday. The rapper and designer showed the Fall 2015 collection for Yeezy Supply in front of his wife, Kim Kardashian, their 1-year-old daughter, North, and close pals Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z. The show also brought out Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, as well as friends and collaborators like Alexander Wang, Rihanna, Diddy, Big Sean, and A$AP Ferg. Kanye's sister-in-law Kylie Jenner hit the catwalk with a group of fellow models, while Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian applauded from their front-row seats. Kanye reportedly gave a lengthy, inspiring introduction to the crowd before showing the line (which was inspired by the 2011 London riots), saying, "I want people to think more; I want people to feel like it's OK to create and follow what their dreams are and not feel boxed in; I want people to feel like awesome is possible! There's a lack of creativity in every field because people are afraid. As an artist and in this world we can do whatever we want."

Kim, Kanye, and North made their way to the Big Apple on Sunday after a big night at the Grammy Awards. The couple headed to the airport after they appeared on E!'s postshow special — where Kanye made his headline-making rant about Beck's album of the year award win — just in time for the NYFW festivities, which also included a launch event for Kardashian Beauty Hair. Kim shared a sweet photo of herself primping while cuddling with North before the party, writing, "Quick glam and a snuggle before @kbeautyhair event."
