Lea Michele donned a hint of red to act as cohost of Target's FEED collaboration party held at Brooklyn Bridge Park yesterday in NYC, where she was joined by FEED's founder and cohost, Lauren Bush Lauren, as well as Sophia Bush, Karlie Kloss, and Mamie Gummer. The Summer soiree in celebration of Target's partnership with the FEED Foundation, which aims to end world hunger, also included a live performance from American Idol's Phillip Phillips. Lea showed her support for the cause on her social media account, writing, "Arrived in Brooklyn for the Target + FEED launch! Honored to be here to host w/ the lovely Lauren Bush to aid hunger relief."
Although Lea was out celebrating a good cause in NYC, the night took an unfortunate turn when she learned the news of James Gandolfini's death. She offered her sentiments on her Twitter account, writing, "Such sad news about James Gandolfini. What an incredible actor. My thoughts are with his family."
