Lionel Richie may have won the lifetime achievement award at Sunday night's BET Awards [1], but that doesn't mean that everyone knows how to properly spell his name. Fans watching at home noticed that Lionel's name was misspelled as "Lionel Ritchie" when he took to the stage to accept his award. Neither Lionel nor BET has commented on the misspelling, but Lionel's tribute proceeded without incident, including covers of Lionel's songs by John Legend [2] and a special performance by Lionel himself.
