Lupita Nyong'o is experiencing a lot of firsts these days: her first award season, her first Oscar nomination, and now her first NBA game! After Lupita's adorable appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, she and a male friend made their way to Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks play the Philadelphia 76ers. The 12 Years a Slave star was animated during the game, cheering courtside next to John Leguizamo, Edie Falco, and Edie's young son, Anderson. (Also, Lupita's friend was doing the Cabbage Patch, which we find kind of amazing.) Lupita commemorated the night by sharing a video on Instagram, saying, "First basketball game. #knicks vs #sixers. I could get into this."
