MTV to Air This Powerful PSA About Ferguson During VMAs

MTV is set to air this 15-second PSA during tonight's VMAs addressing the situation in Ferguson, MO, ahead of tomorrow's scheduled funeral for Michael Brown. The short spot doesn't show any people, but it does contain the "Hands up. Don't shoot" chant, which has become the calling cry of the protestors in Missouri and around the country. There is also a quote from the writer James Baldwin, "Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced," as well as #lookdifferent.
